“Thinking ahead together. Combined expertise: Casaton becomes Tegum.”

On January 1, 2026, Casaton AG was fully integrated into Tegum AG. Tegum now acts as the legal successor to both traditional companies. The merger brings together expertise, market presence and logistics under one roof and strengthens the company’s commitment to delivering value to all customers.

Higher product availability, an expanded product range, faster service and a strong team from both inside and field sales make the new Tegum AG an even more reliable partner throughout Switzerland.

In 2004, Tegum AG moved from Angst+Pfister in Zurich to Frauenfeld, the headquarters of the Janico Group. With the new location, logistics, administration and sales were centralized – an important step towards greater efficiency and closer customer relationships.

On January 1, 2003, Tricon AG and Tegum AG were merged using the corporate structure of Tricon AG while retaining the well-established and recognized name “Tegum AG”. This step created clearer structures, consolidated resources and strengthened the company’s position in the market.

As part of a strategic realignment, Janico Holding AG acquired the company’s share capital. The existing Tricon AG acted as the acquiring entity, creating the foundation for the company’s further development and future direction.

Since 1967, the company has been distributing technical products for the construction industry as well as for commercial horticulture. As part of a succession arrangement and for strategic reasons, Tegum AG was later offered for sale.

In 1963, the company was acquired by Angst+Pfister AG in Zurich. This acquisition enabled a broader strategic direction, an expansion of the product range and the modernization of internal processes and structures.

Our company was founded in 1956, laying the foundation for a long and successful development as a specialized supplier of technical products for construction, trade and horticulture. From the very beginning, the company distinguished itself through its commitment to quality, reliability and close customer relationships.
