Ceramic fiber tape

TEGUBAND® K-SK 323 is a single-sided self-adhesive tape made from asbestos-free ceramic fibers with a minimal amount of organic binders. The tape features a very uniform texture, low thermal conductivity and excellent handling properties. The ceramic fiber fleece composite provides high resistance to thermal shock as well as a low heat storage capacity. In case of fire, no smoke or harmful gases are produced. The material is chemically and physically stable and is only affected by hydrofluoric and phosphoric acids as well as concentrated alkaline solutions. Water has no influence on its properties.

Application
As a complement to the sealant PENSIL® 300, TEGUBAND® K-SK 323 is used as a backing, sealing and filling tape in installations and constructions with increased fire protection requirements. It is also suitable for thermal separation of metal components.
