Description: TRICOTEX fabric, made from durable PP tape material, was developed for particularly high loads in earthworks, road construction and civil engineering. With a minimum thickness of 1.1 mm and a material weight of 235 g/m², it offers excellent structural stability. The tensile strength of 50 kN/m in both directions and low elongation values ensure high dimensional stability and reliable performance. The stamp penetration force of 6 kN, a puncture resistance of 8 mm and a tested weather resistance of 90% underline the robustness of the material. Application: Thanks to its fine opening width of 0.2 mm and a flow rate of 18 l/m²/s, the fabric is ideal for demanding filtration, separation and protection functions. It is often used in the substructure of traffic routes, under bulk materials, in drainage systems and for stabilising weak soils. The material reliably prevents layers from mixing and ensures permanent filtration while maintaining high mechanical safety.
