Description: TRICOTEX fabric, made from robust PP tape material, has been specially developed for heavy-duty use in earthworks, road construction and civil engineering. With a minimum thickness of 0.8 mm and a material weight of 190 g/m², it offers strong mechanical properties and high durability. The tensile strength of 40 kN/m in both directions and elongation values of 17% lengthwise and 15% crosswise ensure stable and resilient structures. In addition, the material impresses with a stamp penetration force of 4.5 kN, a puncture resistance of 10 mm and a tested weather resistance of 90%. Application: With a fine opening width of 0.2 mm and a flow rate of 7 l/m²/s, the fabric is ideal for filtering, separating and protective functions. Typical areas of application are substructures, drainage systems, traffic areas and use under bulk materials. The material ensures reliable filtration, protection against mixing of layers and long-term stable building ground structures.
