TEGUTAPE® 6000 – Butyl Adhesive Tape
TEGUTAPE® 6000 is a high-adhesion, double-sided sealing and adhesive tape made of butyl rubber. It provides strong, durable bonds and reliable sealing on concrete, masonry, wood, and chipboard. For improved dimensional stability, a version with a calendered longitudinal thread is available.
Application
Perfect for overlaps and joint sealing of TEGUVAP® vapor barriers, TEGUTOP® 1000 underlay sheets, and polyethylene wind- and airtight layers. Also used for sealing and bonding in HVAC, ventilation, metal facade, and timber construction. Surfaces must be dry, clean, and grease-free; porous substrates require TEGUCOL® 273 Primer.
