TEGUTAPE® 6100 – Butyl Adhesive Tape with Aluminum
TEGUTAPE® 6100 is a flexible, versatile sealing and repair tape made of butyl rubber with a tear-resistant plastic-aluminum composite film. It features strong adhesion, weather- and UV-resistant surface, and sound-dampening properties. Solvent-free and fire-resistant, it is ideal for durable sealing and repair applications.
Application
Suitable for sealing in HVAC, aluminum, and metal construction, as well as universal repair purposes. Can be used without primer on smooth surfaces; for porous substrates, TEGUCOL® 273 Primer is recommended to improve initial adhesion.
